13,77,173 voters will elect Mandi MP, final list of voters released

In Mandi, the country's second largest parliamentary constituency in terms of area, 13,77,173 voters will elect their MP.

Mandi : In Mandi, the country’s second largest parliamentary constituency in terms of area, 13,77,173 voters will elect their MP.

Out of these, 6,85,832 are men and 6,78,225 are women. Three are transgender. 47,215 youth will exercise their franchise for the first time in the parliamentary constituency.

The list of voters for the elections has been finalized. Voting will be held at 2213 polling stations in Mandi. There are 17 assembly constituencies in the parliamentary constituency.

There are a total of 81,354 voters in Bharmour constituency of Chamba. Of these, 41,782 are men and 39,159 are women. There are 25,967 voters in Lahaul-Spiti constituency, of which 12,605 are men and 12,668 are women.

More women voters in seven constituencies
There are more women in seven out of total 17 assembly constituencies under Mandi parliamentary constituency.

These include Lahaul-Spiti, Nachan, Jogindernagar, Mandi Sadar, Balh, Sarkaghat and Kinnaur. 233 voters are above 100 years of age and there are also two NRI voters in Mandi parliamentary constituency.

While 233 voters above 100 years of age are included. Service voters are 13,113, disabled are 16,560. There are 13,120 voters above 85 years of age and 47,215 voters aged 18 to 19 years.
