Pathankot: In a major breakthrough, Counter Intelligence Pathankot arrested two persons after getting reliable information. The arrest led to recovery of arms and ammunition from the arrested accused. The information about arrest and recovery has been shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav.

As per police, CI Pathankot apprehended two persons based on reliable inputs. The recovery includes, 2 glock pistols, 4 magazines and 14 live cartridges of 9mm caliber. An FIR has been registered by the police in this matter.

Police is investigating further to uncover the source of weapons and identification of more suspects involved in the network.

DGP Yadav assured that Punjab Police is steadfast in its mission to curb illegal activities and ensure a secure and safe place.
