New Delhi: Ahead of joining the Congress party along with olympian wrestler Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat tendered her resignation from the service of Railways. Sharing the copy of her resignation, Vinesh wrote an emotional message in a post on X.
Sharing the decision to quit Railways, Vinesh wrote, “Serving Indian Railways has been a memorable and proud time of my life. At this point in my life, I have decided to separate myself from the railway service and have submitted my resignation to the competent authorities of the Indian Railways. I will always be grateful to the Indian Railway family for this opportunity given to me by the Railways in the service of the nation.”
In her resignation, she cited ‘Family circumstances and personal reasons’ as the reason for quitting service of the Indian Raiwalys. Here is the resignation given by Vinesh Phogat.

It should be noted that Both Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia will be joining Congress officially any minute now. It is certain that Vinesh will be contesting election there is doubt on the candidature of Bajrang Punia. It is said that Bajrang Punia will not be given a ticket but rather he will act as the star campaigner of the party. Earlier today, both wrestlers met Congress Chief Mallikarajun Kharge and KC Venugopal before joining the party at his residence.
