Mumbai: Actor Ali Fazal is set to star in the upcoming fantasy period drama series Rakht Brahmand, produced by Raj & DK and directed by Tumbbad creator Rahi Anil Barve. The series promises to deliver a grand cinematic experience, blending historical elements with fantasy. The show will also feature Aditya Roy Kapur, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles.
To prepare for the challenging role, Ali has been undergoing intense training, spending nearly 6-7 hours a day on physical and mental conditioning. His regimen includes weight training, diction lessons, and learning ancient Indian martial arts to bring authenticity to his action sequences.
In addition to the physical transformation, Ali has grown his hair for over a year to match the character’s appearance. He opted for natural hair instead of wigs to enhance the realism of his role, showing his dedication to the project.
Speaking about the experience, Ali said, “Signing Rakht Brahmand was an easy decision because it’s unlike anything I’ve done before. The scale and vision of the project are incredible. This journey has pushed my body and mind beyond their limits.”
Filming is currently underway at various locations in Mumbai studios, with Ali completely immersed in his role. The series is expected to offer a visually stunning and immersive experience, making it one of the most anticipated projects of the year.
