New Delhi: The Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday congratulated Team India for defeating Pakistan by six wickets in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025.
In his post on X, Shah wrote “An electrifying performance!! Well played Team India. You have made everyone proud by living up to the expectations of millions of cricket fans around the world. All my best wishes for your future matches.”
BJP President J.P. Nadda also congratulated Team India and showered praise on Virat Kohli for hitting a century against the arch-rivals. “Congratulations to the Indian Men’s Cricket Team on this remarkable victory against Pakistan in the #ICCChampionsTrophy 2025! Kudos to Virat Kohli for his impressive century, leading the team with his experience and skill. This match was a perfect example of teamwork, with every player playing their part to secure the win. Best wishes for the upcoming matches, and may the team continue to carry forward this winning momentum,” the BJP President wrote on X.
Sharing his delight after the match, Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya also congratulated Team India.
“Heartiest congratulations to the Men in Blue on their emphatic victory against Pakistan in the #CT2025. What a great all-round performance by the team. A special mention to @imVkohli for a wonderful innings & for becoming the fastest to reach 14,000 ODI runs. Best wishes for the games ahead,” the Sports Minister wrote on X.
Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that India defeating Pakistan is a ‘spectacular victory’ for the countrymen.
“Amazing victory! Many congratulations to the Indian Cricket Team for their spectacular victory against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025! All the countrymen are proud and happy on this achievement of yours. Congratulations to all the members of Team India. I wish that this sequence of victory continues uninterrupted. Bharat Mata ki Jai,” the Union Minister posted on X.
