If there is any fault, there is no recovery. They had submitted a memorandum 4 days ago. But when no action was taken and the problem was not solved, they locked the grid. Farmers from villages like Katana Sahib, Rampur, Mehdooda, Khaira, etc. have come with them.
PSPL SDO, who reached the spot, said that power cuts are being imposed as per the orders received from Patiala. Instead of 8 hours, electricity is being supplied for 6 hours. The Patiala headquarters has been informed about the farmers’ anger. A letter will be written in this regard, and a WhatsApp message will also be sent. It is hoped that the problem will be solved soon.
