Mumbai: Veteran actor Anupam Kher, recently seen in the streaming film ‘Vijay 69’, is fully enjoying his time in Thailand.
On Sunday, he shared numerous photos and videos from his vacation on Instagram, showcasing his love for fusion cuisine.
In his caption, Kher expressed the special significance of this trip, which he took with his brother and childhood friends. He mentioned that, besides delivering a motivational lecture, exploring the Ayutthaya temple and indulging in street shopping were highlights. He particularly raved about some exceptional meals at standout restaurants, including Chef Harin Nayak’s Jhol Bangkok and Clara Bangkok, in addition to Restaurant Gaa. He expressed his gratitude to the people behind these culinary gems, saying, “Thank you and #Dhanyawad! #FriendsInThailand.” One highlighted dish featured malabar parota and mushroom.
Earlier, Kher reminisced about his 40-year journey in the film industry, reflecting on the experiences that shaped him. He shared nostalgic photos from various locations and recounted his early days, including his connection to Casa Maria in Bandra, which he considers a second home. He recalled his time while shooting his debut film, Saaransh, and mentioned how he began his career at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir, only to discover that the acting school he joined didn’t have a physical space and classes were held on the beach instead.
