There is water crisis in Haryana since last two months

There has been a water crisis in Haryana for the last two months. Punjab was providing only 4000 cusecs of water. When BBMB wanted to provide water on Haryana’s demand, the Punjab government deployed police.

Since the quota of water allotted last year was exhausted on May 20, BBMB releases water from May 21 to reduce the water level of Bhakra Dam. The Punjab government also had no objection to releasing water from May 21. Now the drinking water crisis in Haryana will end.
