BJP announce 6 candidates from Punjab for Lok Sabha Elections

BJP has released the first list of Punjab candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.

Jalandhar : BJP has released the first list of Punjab candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. According to this list, former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s wife Parneet Kaur has been announced as a candidate from Patiala, while Taranjit Singh Sandhu from Amritsar, Hans Raj Hans from Faridkot, and Dinesh Singh Babbu from Gurdaspur.

Apart from this, the party high command has expressed confidence in Sushil Kumar Rinku and Ravneet Singh Bittu, who joined the BJP a few days ago, and Rinku has been declared a candidate from Jalandhar, while Ravneet Bittu has been announced as a candidate from Ludhiana. The current MP from Gurdaspur Sunny Deol’s ticket has been cut by the party. In his place, the party has announced Dinesh Singh Babbu as the candidate. It is to be mentioned that the Lok Sabha elections in the country will be held in phases and the first phase will start from April 19, while in Punjab it will be held in the last phase i.e. on June 1. The results of these elections will be announced on June 4.
