Chandigarh: Today, BJP will hold a big demonstration across Punjab, marking three years since the current state government assumed office. The Party plans to hold Dharnas at over 150 locations across the state, protesting against the Punjab government’s failure to fulfill its election promises.
Under the Slogan “Na Vikas Na Insaaf”, BJP Leaders have crtiticized the state government for not delivering several key commitments made during their election campaign. Among the key issues raised are the unfulfilled promises of providing 1000 rupees to women, ensuring 24-hours electricity supply and implementing a MSP for every crop and many more.
The dharnas are expected to intensify the ongoing political tension between the ruling government and opposition parties., with the BJP hoping to rally support from farmers, women, and the general public who are dissatisfied with the current administration’s performance.
As the Dharnas unfold across the state, all eyes will be on Punjab Government responds to this significant challenge from BJP.
