Blast at police station in Amritsar during wee hours, Gangster Jeevan Fauji claims responsibility

The State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) team is investigating around the police station.

Amritsar: A blast took place at Islamabad police station in Amritsar, Punjab on Tuesday early during the wee hours. As per police, a blast was reported at 3.15 am after which, the police closed the gates of the police station. The reported explosion in the police station caused panic among the people nearby.

The army also reached on the information of the blast, but left after 15 minutes. The State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) team is investigating around the police station.

Gangster Jeevan Fauji takes responsibility

A social media post and audio has surfaced in the name of gangster Jeevan Fauji, an associate of Khalistani terrorist Happy Pasian. In which he has taken responsibility for the blast. However, the authenticity of the post is yet to be verified.

In the viral audio, he said, ‘I am Jeevan Fauji speaking. I take responsibility for the grenade attack on Islamabad police station in Amritsar. This is a direct warning to the police and the Punjab government, who are running this goon rule. Illegal FIRs are being registered against people.”

He further said, “We were made homeless. Even our parents and aunts and uncles were sent to jail. Now we will answer this thing like this. We are not the ones to sit in fear. This is just the trailer, the whole movie is yet to come. Punjab Police and Punjab Government, keep your families safe. You have gone to your homes, we will also go to our homes.”
