Ludhiana: Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Kultar Singh Sandhawan reached Ludhiana today. He attended a private function. During his Ludhiana visit, Kultar Singh Sandhawan reacted on AAP MLA Gurpreet Gogi demolishing the foundation stone which he himself laid. AAP MLA was angered by the callousness of the officials regarding cleanliness of ‘Buddah Nallah’.
Speaker Kultar Singh said that it is the main duty of everyone to save Buddha Nallah. Sandhwan also said that the party high command is also discussing why MLA Gurpreet Gogi broke the foundation stone of his name and other possible factors behind his action.
Kultar Singh Sandhawan further said that today he will have a special meeting with Gogi. The government will also call for a report against the officers who are being negligent in getting Budha Nallah cleaned.
It should be noted that the project of Buddha Nallah is worth Rs 650 crore. Speaker Sandhwan added that a report will be sought from the company that has the cleaning project. He also added that it will be inquired from the company that as to how much work of Buddha Nallah has been completed so far and by when will the remaining work be completed.
Sandhawan saying that MLA Gurpreet Gogi always fought for the people said, “Today, if he has broken the foundation stone of his name, then there must have been some big reason. A meeting will also be held with the responsible officers of the district and strict action will be taken against those who are creating obstacles in getting the Buddha Nallah cleaned.”
