In a sensational incident, Dipanshu, a class IX student, was shot dead in Mastnath Colony near Satrod Cantt in Hisar. The attacker shot two bullets in Dipanshu’s stomach, killing him on the spot. Surprisingly, the accused in this murder is also said to be a classmate of his class IX.
Dipanshu’s father Prakash, who is employed as a guard in SBI Bank after retiring from the army, lives with his family in Mastnath Colony. Dipanshu earlier studied in Delhi Public School, but this year he was admitted to RPS Hansi.
According to the police, on Thursday morning around 7:30, Dipanshu went to the Cantt area on a scooty to get milk. During this time, someone called him and asked him to come to the loading point near the railway line near Satrod Cantt. When he reached there, a classmate shot him. Hearing the gunshot, people from the vicinity rushed to the spot and Dipanshu was immediately rushed to Jindal Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and began investigation. The police have recovered bullet shells from the spot and are examining CCTV footage. Initial investigations have revealed that the accused is also a ninth-grade student who studied with Dipanshu. The police have launched a search for the accused, who fled after the incident.
