Shimla: 50 bright students of Himachal Pradesh are going on an exposure visit to Cambodia and Singapore today. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will flag off the group of students for abroad.
For the first time, the state government is sending bright students of class 11th and 12th abroad. The bright students will be on a tour from 8th to 18th February and will visit educational institutions of these two countries.
State Education Minister Rohit Thakur, Director Higher Education Amarjeet Singh are also going on an exposure visit with these children.
These children were selected for a foreign tour
20 students of class 11th and 20 students of class 12th have been selected who have secured 95% or more marks in class 10th examination. 4 students who participated in the National Sports Competition, 2 NCC cadets participating in the Republic Day parade, 1 NSS volunteer, 1 Scout and Guide and 1 student participating in national cultural activity have also been selected for foreign tour.
These students will go to Singapore-Cambodia
In Hamirpur district, Ridima Sharma, Annaya from Naidun School, Ira Sharma, Sanchita, Komal from Bahavin School, Kashish from Maid School, Akarsh Thakur from Badran School, Madhu Sharma from Gauna Karaur School, Rhythm from Chabutra School, Tamanna Thakur, Avni Thakur from Dhaneta School, Ankita Thakur from Kuthera School, Manya from Gaira Gharan School, Tanisha Koondel from Garli School, Aastha Kumari from Nalti School, Naveen Kumar from Jhirli School are going abroad.
Bilaspur’s Barthi Aditi Sharma will go to Singapore
Aastha Dhiman from Bair School, Geetanjali from Jhagriani School, Aditi Sharma, Shivam Sharma, Rizwan Sankhyan, Saumya from Barthin School, Bilaspur, Kajal, Ritika from Morsindhi School, Prachi Sharma from Thural School, Kangra, Tamanna Choudhary from Bharmar School, Simrat from Dehra School, Priyanshi from Rakkad Dehra School, Ritika from Bathu Tippri School, Sath Saksham Rana from Karoa School, Saajal Thakur from Dhundhla School, Una, Kanak Thakur from Thana Kalan School, Sameeksha and Aryan Bhatia from Daloh School have been selected for the foreign tour.
