New Delhi: After YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, now comedian Jaspreet Singh’s troubles have increased. Chandigarh professor Pandit Dharenvar Rao has filed a complaint against him to SGPC chief Harjinder Singh Dhami. He is accused of using indecent and obscene language in the show. Along with this, action has been demanded against him.
He says that Jaspreet’s actions are damaging the image of Sikhs and are against Sikh culture. He has raised three main points in his letter. Earlier, Professor Rao has been raising his voice against alcohol and gun culture in Punjabi songs. At the same time, the High Court had also issued orders in this regard on his petition.
The following points have been raised in the letter:
1. Action should be taken against Jaspreet Singh for using abusive language on India’s famous show ‘India’s Got Talent’ because despite being a turbaned Sikh, he uses abusive language. His doing so on a digital platform is an insult to all turbaned Sikhs.
2. The use of vulgar and objectionable language on OTT and digital platforms has a negative impact on teenagers.
3. It is also found in Sikh culture.
Punjabi youths involved in the show are targeted
Earlier, regarding Ranveer’s show in which he made lewd comments, Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi said that first of all I want to thank the person who awakened your conscience and then I want to express my sorrow that the height of your pride has increased so much that you have been pinched after a long time. These people made a show which was very dirty.
We cannot even mention it. Poor girls were sitting in it. I pity them. One or two of our Sardars were sitting in it. Those who are pityed more than the girls. Those people have stooped so low, they want so much popularity or their conscience has not died, it has been suppressed. Wake up even now, your conscience has just received an alarm.
