Jalandhar: A security guard of Punjab Police died after being shot near Babrik Chowk in Jalandhar. 48-year-old Ramnik Singh, a resident of Ram Das Nagar, Chaugitti Area, Jalandhar, was deployed for the security of Rinku Pandit from PAP.
On Friday, he was cleaning his rifle and accidentally a bullet was fired from his carbine. Due to this, the police officer of Punjab Police died. Police has taken the body in its custody and sent it to Civil Hospital Jalandhar for post-mortem. Let us tell you that Ramnik Singh was the father of 3 daughters.
According to the information, the incident took place at Rinku Pandit’s house near Babrik Chowk. On Friday morning, he was cleaning his carbine. During this, suddenly bullets were fired. When the family present in the house reached the spot, Ramnik Singh was lying soaked in blood. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he died.
Investigation revealed that the bullets had hit the lower part of his neck. After being shot, the bullets came out of Ramnik’s head. Ramnik’s gunman was also present at the scene of the incident. He was the first to inform his department about this.
