New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party Member Parliament Kamaljit Sehrawat on Thursday said that Delhi people have reposed faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and subsequently handed him the charge of the National Capital.
Speaking with the reporters Kamaljit Sehrawat said, “In the last 10 years, AAP was running politics of spreading confusion, lies and corruption in Delhi. Now, the BJP government has come to power in Delhi, and people have shown their faith in PM Modi and handed over Delhi to him.”
She also highlighted PM Modi’s vision of a developed India.
“Now our cabinet formed today will work towards making Delhi the capital of PM Modi’s vision of developed India…,” She added, referring to the oath-taking ceremony of Rekha Gupta as Chief Minister along with her council of ministers.
Earlier, Rekha Gupta took oath as the ninth Chief Minister of Delhi at the historic Ramlila Maidan in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several NDA leaders and Chief Ministers. The list included the likes of Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, Devendra Fadnavis, Keshav Prasad Maurya, Amit Shah, JP Nadda and many more.
