New Delhi: As millions of people prepare for the ‘Maha Kumbh 2025’ in Prayagraj starting on January 13, both domestic and international companies are competing for branding opportunities at the world’s largest religious gathering, which lasts for 45 days. Companies from sectors like FMCG, pharmaceuticals, mobility, and digital payments are set to invest more than Rs 3,000 crore in marketing during the event, as per industry experts.

Crayons Advertising, which has secured the rights to manage advertising infrastructure for Maha Kumbh 2025, is overwhelmed with inquiries from both local and global brands. According to Raj Mohanty, Vice President at Crayons Advertising, the demand for advertising space has been surging as brands look to make the most of the 45-day festival.

Earlier, Kunal Lalani, Chairman and MD of Crayons Advertising, stated that winning the advertising rights highlights the Kumbh Authority’s trust in their capabilities and past successes. Crayons, which partnered with major brands like HUL, Colgate, LIC, Sprite, PNB, and Bihar Tourism during the 2019 Kumbh, is now preparing to further elevate the 2025 event. The agency plans to set up tents, signage, and installations to enhance the visitor experience and provide brands with a platform to connect with their target audience.

In addition, the Uttar Pradesh government, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is organizing grand cultural events blending spirituality, tradition, and entertainment. Bollywood stars and performers are set to captivate attendees with stories from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the spiritual significance of the Kumbh, further enriching the experience of the event.
