Hisar: The youths created a ruckus when they were asked to pay tax at the Barwala toll plaza in Hisar district of Haryana. The youths who came in 3 vehicles lifted the toll tax barrier. When the toll employees tried to stop them, they took out sticks from the vehicle.
After this, the youths not only beat up the toll employees but also threatened them. After this, the youth took the vehicle away without paying toll.
The incident took place last Sunday night at around 11:30 pm. Barwala police have registered a case on the complaint of Toll Plaza GM Vaman Rathore and started investigation. He has told the police that the accused were residents of Jugalan.
Vaman Rathore, GM of Barwala Toll Plaza, has told in a complaint to Barwala police that their company IRB Kaithal has got the work of road construction and toll collection from Kaithal to Jhumpa border.
GM said that vehicles without number plates came to lane number 3, 4, and 5 at around 11:23 pm and stopped the traffic at the toll plaza. The youths riding in them opened the barrier of the toll booth with their hands and started threatening that the vehicles of Jugalan village should be allowed to pass through the toll free without showing the RC.
The GM of the toll said that immediate and strict action should be taken against the culprits in this case, so that such incidents are not repeated in the future. He said that the entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed at the toll. The police have registered a case and started investigation in this matter. At present, no accused has been arrested.
