In Jalandhar, the police have registered a case against two YouTubers of Jalandhar for using obscene language against the famous Christian pastor Ankur Narula. This case has been registered at Sadar police station.
The police have registered a case under sections 196 (1) and 353 (2) of the IPC against Daman Dhingra and Manpreet Singh, residents of Jalandhar. The accused used obscene language for pastor Ankur Narula. At present, no accused has been arrested in the case.
In the statements given to the police, Victor Gold, a resident of Foldiwal, said that the accused have created a YouTube channel and are posting objectionable content related to the Christain Community and Pastor Ankur Narula.
When the video reached the people of the Christian community, a complaint was lodged with the Commissionerate Police on Friday. After an investigation, the police registered a case against the accused Daman and Manpreet on Friday night. The police have kept the video as evidence in the case.
