Firing on a youth in Tarn Taran: Attack over money transaction, one injured

Tarn Taran: A case of firing has come to light in Tarn Taran, Punjab. The incident took place in Khalda of Tarn Taran. Here one party opened fire on the other over the issue of money transactions. The police have started action based on the statements of the family. The family has accused the current Sarpanch of ordering the firing. The injured youth has been admitted to Amandeep Hospital in Amritsar from Tarn Taran in critical condition.

Surinderpal said that the name of the injured youth is Harish Kumar. The current Sarpanch Sukhdev Soni used to visit the injured’s father Satinder Kumar earlier. They had money transactions there. About 8 years ago, tension started between the two parties over money. The matter reached the court, which is still pending in the court.

But last night the Sarpanch came with his companions and called Harish to him. They were asking him to sit in the car. But when Harish protested, then youth who came with the Sarpanch opened fire.

After the incident, the accused’s pistol misfired. After this, a neighbor pulled Harish inside and saved his life. Harish was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. However, due to excessive bleeding, he was immediately referred to Amandeep Hospital in Amritsar, where he is undergoing treatment.

The injured youth Harish told that Sarpanch Soni himself had accompanied him in this incident. When the debate started, he had said that he would leave his side to the court’s decision. After which the Sarpanch asked Gagandeep to fire the shot. There was another youth with these two, whose identity is not known to them.
