Chandigarh: A bomb threat to the Haryana Chief Minister’s Office led to the evacuation of the Punjab-Haryana Secretariat on Friday, May 30, 2025. Security forces, including CISF, Haryana Police, Chandigarh Police, fire brigade, ambulances, and the bomb squad, have been deployed at the site as a precautionary measure.

According to the reports,Chandigarh police are on high alert after receiving a call threatening a bomb at Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s office today.

Information was received at around 3:15 pm that there could be a bomb in the office building.

The Secretariat premises were vacated after receiving the bomb threat.

The Central Industrial Security Force, Haryana Police, Chandigarh Police and Crime Investigation Department are present at Haryana Secretariat and are on high alert.

Bomb disposal squads and dog squads have also arrived at the Secretariat and the Chief Minister’s residence and inspecting the area.
