Mumbai, June 30: On the first trading day of the week today, i.e. Monday, June 30, the Sensex is trading 250 points down at 83,800. Nifty has also fallen by 70 points and is at 25,570.
Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 15 are down and 15 are up. Trent, Eternal and Axis Bank are ahead. Kotak Mahindra Bank, Airtel and M&M are down.
Out of the 50 stocks of Nifty, 25 are down and 25 are up. NSE’s public sector bank index has risen by 1.55%. Auto, IT, realty, metal and private banking have seen a slight decline.

Sensex had gained 1651 points last week
On the last trading day of the week, i.e. Friday, June 27, the Sensex closed at 84,059, up 303 points. Nifty also rose by 89 points, reaching 25,638.
Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 16 rose and 14 fell. Asian Paints’ stock rose 3.1%. Meanwhile, a total of 11 stocks, including UltraTech Cement and Power Grid, rose more than 1%. Shares of Axis Bank and Eternal fell 1%.
Out of the 50 Nifty stocks, 30 rose and 20 fell. NSE’s oil and gas sector saw the highest rise of 1.19%. Pharma, metal and healthcare also closed higher. Realty fell by 1.55%.
