Ahmedabad: In the fifth match of ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), Gujarat titans have won the toss and choose to bowl against Punjab Kings at Ahmedabad.
Gujarat captain Shubman Gill said, ‘Dew has an effect on this venue. So we will bowl.’ Meanwhile, Punjab captain Shreyas Iyer said, ‘We also wanted to bowl.’
Gujarat played a total of 16 matches at its home ground Narendra Modi Stadium. It won 9 and lost 7. The team also won its first IPL title on this ground. In its first season 2022, the team won the title by defeating Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the final by 7 wickets.
