Israel: Israel has lifted gathering restrictions in most northern regions following a ceasefire with Hezbollah, as announced by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). This decision came after a situational assessment by IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.

Previously, limits on gatherings varied based on proximity to the Lebanese border, allowing between 10 and 2,000 people. Now, gatherings in the confrontation line area near the Lebanese border and in parts of the annexed Golan Heights will be capped at 200 individuals. Meanwhile, the limit of 2,000 people in southern Israel’s communities near the Gaza Strip remains unchanged.

Additionally, the IDF announced the lifting of restrictions in central Israel, including Tel Aviv and surrounding areas, on Thursday evening. The ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, which began on Wednesday, is mostly holding, though there have been reports of occasional violations along the border.
