Jalandhar: A posh car met with an accident near Deol Nagar in Jalandhar, Punjab. At the time of the incident, a young man was driving the car, who suffered severe injuries. He was admitted to a private hospital for treatment late at night. Fortunately, his life is out of danger as of now. The car was moving at such a high speed that after the collision, it hit a pole installed on the roadside. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the PCR team of the city police reached the spot.
According to the information received, this accident happened at around 11:30 pm. At the time of the incident, a youth was driving the car. When the car of Corolla company reached near Deol Nagar turn on Jalandhar Nakodar Highway, the said accident happened.
According to eyewitnesses, this accident happened due to a big pit on the road. In an attempt to save his car, the youth lost control over the car and directly collided with a pole on the roadside.
The collision was so severe that high extension wires from a long distance from the spot fell on the road. Immediately after the incident, the young man was somehow taken out of the car and admitted to a private hospital for treatment. The police, who arrived late at night, took the car into custody and started an investigation. The boy was saved due to the opening of the car’s airbags, but he still suffered injuries on his hands and face.
