Mumbai: Comedian Jamie Lever is set to take on a touching emotional role in the short film “2050,” directed by Lakshmi R Iyer. Jamie expressed that this role has pushed her emotionally.
The film conveys the message “Care with love heals everything” and features a talented cast that includes Sulabha Arya, Avinash Dwivedi, Trishaan Maini, and Vaidika Senjaliya.
Discussing her experience, Jamie stated, “This role is different from anything I’ve done before. It challenged me emotionally, and I am thankful to Lakshmi for believing in me and encouraging me to explore this new side of myself.”
Veteran actress Sulabha Arya remarked, “2050 is a story that will resonate with everyone. Collaborating with such a skilled cast and team was a rewarding experience.” She praised the director, saying, “Lakshmi has crafted something truly meaningful.”

Jamie Lever, the daughter of renowned comedian Johnny Lever, began her career as a marketing executive at the London-based market research firm Visiongain in August 2012. She transitioned into showbiz with stand-up comedy at The Comedy Store in Mumbai in 2012, later performing on “Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali.” Jamie has also showcased her acting skills in films like “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karun” alongside Kapil Sharma, as well as “Housefull 4,” “Bhoot Police,” and “Crakk” featuring Vidyut Jammwal.
