Mumbai: Kartik Aaryan is set to star in Karan Johar’s new film, “Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri,” following their fallout over the shelved project “Dostana 2.” Karan announced the romantic comedy on Christmas via Instagram, describing it as a perfect holiday gift. The film, directed by Sameer Vidwans, is scheduled for release in 2026.
Kartik also shared the news on his Instagram, expressing his excitement about returning to the romantic comedy genre and introducing his character, Ray, a self-proclaimed mama’s boy with a rocky dating history. He humorously notes that he has had three girlfriends, all of whom struggled after their breakups, and he is determined to make his next relationship work.
Produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, the film brings together the teams behind hits like “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” and “Satyaprem Ki Katha.” This project signifies the end of the tension between Kartik and Karan, as they reconciled earlier this year after the controversy surrounding “Dostana 2.”
