Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kiara Advani has clarified that she is not hospitalized but has been advised to take a break due to fatigue. She missed the press meet for her upcoming film “Game Changer” because of this recommendation.

Her spokesperson issued a statement confirming, “Kiara Advani has not been hospitalized. She has been advised to rest due to exertion from her continuous work schedule.”

Earlier reports had suggested that Kiara was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on Saturday morning, but her spokesperson has since dispelled those rumors.

Kiara is set to star alongside Ram Charan in “Game Changer,” directed by Shankar. This political drama, which features Ram Charan in a dual role, is scheduled for release on January 10, 2025. The plot centers around an IAS officer with anger management issues who fights against corrupt politicians, including CM Bobbili Mopidevi, who undermined his father Appanna’s dream of a corruption-free nation.

In December, Kiara shared that she completed a song sequence in a demanding 13-day shoot for the film. She posted a video of her rehearsing for the song “Dhop,” expressing her excitement about the project and the elaborate set that reminded her of Disneyland.

She wrote, “Here’s a sneak peek of my first day at rehearsal for the first schedule of Game Changer. We started the film with the shoot of the song #Dhop, beautifully conceptualized by @shanmughamshankar Sir.”

Kiara mentioned this was her first experience filming a movie song over 13 days and praised the choreography, her co-stars, and the creative team involved. She expressed her enthusiasm for the project and promised to share more behind-the-scenes content soon.
