This film marks Kriti’s first collaboration with Dhanush. The script, crafted by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, explores themes of unrequited love and emotional turmoil, serving as a spiritual successor to ‘Raanjhanaa’. The movie is produced by Aanand L Rai alongside Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, and is presented by Gulshan Kumar in partnership with T-Series and Colour Yellow.
The teaser for ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ hints at its connection to ‘Raanjhanaa’, featuring a line that references the previous film’s character, Kundan, and introduces a new character, Shankar. The clip shows Dhanush in a dramatic scene, hinting at the film’s intense narrative.
Kriti’s character, Mukti, is depicted in a gripping sequence where she appears distressed in a chaotic environment, preparing to set herself on fire. ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ is set to hit theaters on November 28, in both Hindi and Tamil.
