Manali: A house caught fire due to heater in Himachal Pradesh’s famous tourist destination Manali. Due to which the person sleeping inside was burnt alive and died. The fire brigade vehicle reached the spot and controlled the fire.
The deceased has been identified as Ishwar Das. He is a resident of Ward No. 3 of Manali. Police has taken the body in custody and started investigation. This fire incident happened at 4 am today. At the time of the incident, Ishwar Das was sleeping alone at home. When the neighbors saw flames coming out of the house, they found that the room was locked from inside.
Neighbor informed the fire brigade
Neighbor Hansraj informed the fire brigade about this. By the time the fire brigade personnel reached the spot, the local people also tried to extinguish the fire and controlled the fire to some extent. After some time, the fire brigade vehicle reached the spot and the fire was controlled.
The fire was controlled before it spread to the nearby houses
During this time, Ishwar Das was burnt alive in the fire. Property worth about 1 lakh rupees was destroyed in this incident. Fortunately, the fire was controlled before it spread to the nearby houses.
Tehsildar reached the spot
Tehsildar Anil Rana himself reached the spot and assessed the damage. Manali DSP KD Sharma said that the police has taken the body into custody and started further action. At the time of the incident, the family of the deceased was out of Manali, who have been informed about this incident.
