Mumbai: Mouni Roy, who has made a significant impact in the television industry and is gradually carving out a niche in Bollywood, started 2025 on a positive note by seeking blessings at a temple.
She shared several photos from her visit on Instagram, captioning them, “Embracing the divine possibilities of the new year, trusting that every step we take is guided by the loving hand of God… Happy 2025.”
Recently, a video surfaced online showing the ‘Naagin’ actress taking a tumble while leaving a New Year’s party in Mumbai with her husband Suraj Nambiar and close friend Disha Patani. The trio was surrounded by paparazzi when Mouni lost her balance and fell onto the pavement. Suraj quickly assisted her in getting back up as they made their way to the car.
The clip sparked a variety of reactions on social media. Some commenters speculated that Mouni might have been drunk, while others expressed concern for her well-being. One user remarked, “She is completely drunk,” while another noted, “High heels and blinding flash bulbs = missing a step and falling.” Another commenter added, “I hope she wasn’t injured.”

On the professional front, Mouni recently appeared in Disney+ Hotstar’s web series “Showtime,” alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Emraan Hashmi. She is also set to star in an untitled project by Faruk Kabir, known for “Khuda Haafiz,” which is expected to be released in 2025.
