3 Naxalites killed in Gariaband 3 days ago
Just 3 days ago, security forces killed 3 Naxalites in the Naxal-affected Sornamal forest of Gariaband district. DRG (District Reserve Guard) and STF (Special Task Force) teams surrounded the Naxalites. About 300 soldiers from Chhattisgarh and Odisha were involved in the operation.
The soldiers also surrounded the area from Odisha’s Nawarangpur, due to which the Naxalites did not get a chance to escape. After the encounter between security forces and Naxalites, the bodies of three Naxalites were recovered. Gariaband SP Nikhil Rakhecha confirmed this.
