Mumbai: Neil Nitin Mukesh has revealed he initially clashed with Katrina Kaif during the filming of New York. In an interview with Filmygyan, the actor shared that tension arose between them on the first day of shooting, with Katrina reportedly having an issue with his complexion.
Neil recalled, “We became enemies on the first day. She kept cutting me off during our scene, and I kept asking what the problem was. Later, I heard she had an issue with my complexion and how I portrayed my character.”
Despite the rocky start, the two later became friends. Neil also praised Katrina and her team for looking after him when he fell ill during the shoot.
New York, directed by Kabir Khan, centres on the aftermath of the 9/11 terror attacks and their impact on three friends, played by John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, and Neil Nitin Mukesh.
Neil is currently seen in Hisaab Barabar on Zee5, while Katrina recently made headlines for taking a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh.
