Actress Surbhi Jyoti recently shared a special moment with her fans, showcasing her first cooking experience, or “rasoi,” for her husband, Sumit Suri, after their marriage on October 27.

On her Instagram, the ‘Naagin’ actress posted several photos of herself preparing halwa, a traditional dish for the occasion. Dressed in a beautiful purple Anarkali suit, Surbhi opted for a simple look with understated makeup and a ponytail.

In her post, she captioned the images with “First rasoi.” Some of the pictures feature Sumit watching Surbhi lovingly as he enjoys the halwa she made. One of the solo shots shows Surbhi beaming at the camera.

The post quickly attracted enthusiastic comments from friends and fans who celebrated this new chapter in her life. Vahbiz Dorabjee affectionately remarked, “Awwww meri pyaari dulhan,” while Kishwer Merchant playfully said, “Haaaye sursuri.” Anjali Anand praised her with “Gorgeous as ever,” and Rithvik Dhanjani expressed his admiration with heart emojis. Actress Chandni added, “Surbhiii you look lovely.” Surbhi and Sumit, who had kept their relationship quite private despite dating for a long time, tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony on October 26 at a resort in Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand, surrounded by close friends and family.

They later shared breathtaking wedding pictures on social media, where Surbhi glowed in a red lehenga paired with gold and silver jewelry, while Sumit looked dapper in a white sherwani.

Initially planning to marry in March, the couple postponed their wedding due to venue and preparation issues. On the work front, Surbhi Jyoti is well-known for her roles in popular shows like Qubool Hai and Naagin 3. She made her film debut in 2021 with the comedy-drama “Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai?” alongside Jassie Gill.
