Noorpur police arrest cyber thug from Bihar, did online fraud of Rs 3.56 lakh

In which the complainant had alleged that unknown persons fraudulently withdrew an amount of Rs 3,56,799/- from his bank account through online medium.

Noorpur District Police, taking action in a professional manner, has succeeded in arresting the accused of online fraud from Bihar. According to police information, complainant Kuldeep Raj Gupta, resident of Jasoor, had lodged a complaint of online fraud against unknown persons under section 318 (4) of BNSS at Noorpur police station on 08 April 2025.

In which the complainant had alleged that unknown persons fraudulently withdrew an amount of Rs 3,56,799/- from his bank account through online medium.

District Police Noorpur took prompt and professional action in this case and thoroughly investigated and analyzed the evidence. During the investigation, the identity of the accused involved in this cybercrime was ascertained. Special police teams were formed for the arrest of the accused and they were sent to various states of the country.

Due to the continuous efforts of the above special team, on 09 June 2025, the accused involved in this case, Ajit Kumar son Kanta Paswan resident Khetalpura police station Sare, district Nalanda, Bihar, was arrested from Khetalpura (Bihar). SP Nurpur Ashok Ratan said that further action is being taken in this case as per the rules. At the same time, he appealed to the general public to be careful and vigilant and said that people should immediately inform the police about any kind of suspicious activities in their area.
