Virudhunagar (Tamil Nadu): A tragic incident occurred at a firecracker manufacturing factory near Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district on Wednesday, claimed the life of one person and injuring seven persons, officials said.
Reports reaching said that seven individuals were also injured in the blast, as per the Fire and Rescue Department officials.
Officials further stated that there have been no casualties.
Rescue operations are currently underway. More details are awaited.
