New Delhi: A Pakistan Air Force pilot was apprehended by Indian security personnel on Thursday after his fighter jet went down in the Jaisalmer sector of Rajasthan, close to the international border.
According to sources, the pilot ejected from the aircraft before it crashed and was swiftly detained by ground forces in the area. His identity has not yet been made public.
The crash comes amid escalating hostilities along the border and increased aerial activity from both sides. Indian defence authorities are questioning the pilot, and teams have reached the site to examine the wreckage.
