New Delhi: In the latest episode of his radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the grandeur and unifying message of the upcoming Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. He noted that preparations are in full swing and shared his recent experience of viewing the Kumbh area from a helicopter, describing it as overwhelming in its beauty and scale.
Modi highlighted the event’s inclusiveness, mentioning that millions will gather, accompanied by countless priests, diverse traditions, and various communities. He stated, “There is no discrimination – no one is big or small,” and emphasized that the Kumbh represents a unique unity in diversity, dubbing it a ‘Maha Kumbh of Unity.’ He called on citizens to pledge unity and eliminate societal divisions during the event, encapsulating the message with the phrase, “Maha Kumbh ka sandesh, ek ho poora desh” (The Maha Kumbh’s message is to unite the entire country).
Additionally, he spoke about digital innovations planned for the Kumbh, including navigation systems for ghats and temples and an AI chatbot for information. He encouraged attendees to share selfies using the hashtag Ekta Ka Maha Kumbh.
Modi also mentioned the upcoming celebration of 75 years since the adoption of India’s Constitution, set for January 26, 2025. He expressed pride in the Constitution as a guiding light and announced year-long activities to engage citizens, especially students, through a dedicated website, Constitution75.com, urging young Indians to explore the values of the Constitution.
