Kuwait: The Prime Minister Modi on Saturday recieved a grand welcome from the members of Indian dispora and Kuwait authorities who recieveed him with greetings and cultural perfomences.
Prime Minister interacts with members of Indian dispora in Kuwait hotel, also watched cultural performances by artists.
Notably Prime Minister Modi is on his two days historic visit to Kuwait which begins today and is his first vvsit as a Prime minister to Kuwait and first if Indian Prime Minister in last 43 years.
Modi was invited by Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jabar Al-Sabah the Amir of the state Kuwait. He also meets 101-year-old ex IFS officer Manghal Sain Handa after his arrival.
A member of Indian dispora said that the Inidan peoples in Kuwait said they are happy with the visit of Prime Ministers Modi’s visit to Kuwait.
PM also meet with with publisher Abdullateef Alnesef and translator Abdullah Baron, who published the Ramayana and Mahabharata in Arabic.
In his two day visit PM Modi will attend the opening ceremony of the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup as a special guest of the Emir of Kuwait.
He will also interact with the Indian diaspora at the ‘Hala Modi’ community event at the Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Sports Complex.
