“Thalapathy 69” marks Pooja Hegde’s first collaboration with actor Vijay. The film is a significant milestone in Vijay’s career and is directed by H. Vinoth, with Venkat K. Narayana producing under the KVN Productions banner. The film is expected to be a major tribute to Vijay’s legacy. Alongside Vijay and Pooja Hegde, the cast includes Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Monisha Blessy, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. The film is anticipated to be Vijay’s last before entering politics and the studio’s first Tamil production.

Reports suggest Vijay will portray a suspended police officer who regains his power for a special mission. “Thalapathy 69” is slated for a worldwide release in October 2025, in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

In addition to “Thalapathy 69,” Pooja Hegde will be seen in the action-drama “Deva,” co-starring Shahid Kapoor, set for release on January 31, 2025. She also stars in the untitled “Suriya 44” alongside Suriya, and the romantic comedy “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.”
