Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently announced on Instagram that she has wrapped up filming for “Citadel 2” and is now ready to embrace the holiday season. In her post, she shared various photos and videos from the wrap party, including a fun clip of Stanley Tucci preparing celebratory drinks for the cast.
In her caption, Priyanka expressed gratitude for the support she received throughout the whirlwind year, stating, “I’m so grateful to the cast and crew and especially my team who propped me up.” She added, “Now… I’m diving into the holiday season!”
“Citadel,” a spy action series created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh, and David Weil, features Priyanka as Nadia Sinh alongside Richard Madden as Mason Kane. The show follows Kane as he navigates a new organization called Manticore after a traumatic event that wipes his memory. The first season, which premiered on April 28, 2023, is one of the most expensive TV shows ever made. Multiple international spin-offs have been announced, including an Indian adaptation titled “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” which stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The series also features a strong supporting cast, including Kay Kay Menon, Simran, and Saqib Saleem.
