Chandigarh: Politics has also heated up on the issue of Indians deported from America. Punjab Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal cornered the Haryana government over the arrangements being made to send the deported Indians home.
In particular, he took Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij to task and said that the Haryana government has sent vehicles carrying prisoners to take the deported Haryana residents home.
Dhaliwal had arrived to review the preparations
On Saturday night around 11:30, the US Air Force plane dropped off the Indians illegally living in America in Amritsar. After this, Punjab Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal arrived at Amritsar Airport at around 1 am to review the arrangements.
During this time, he criticized the Haryana government. He said- It is sad to say that even today Haryana has prisoners van to bring back people deported from America. Last time Haryana was also criticized for this. Despite this, they have sent prisoners van.
Dhaliwal said that thick nets have been installed outside the buses. Anil Vij is a big leader of BJP. He has the Transport Ministry. I request him to send some other bus.
The people who are being deported are our own brothers
Dhaliwal said that the people who are being deported are our own Indians and brothers. Such vehicles have been sent to pick them up, how disappointed they must have been.
The Punjab minister said, ‘Anil Vij ji, the people who have been deported are our own people. Why are they being treated like this? They have not committed any crime in India. They are not terrorists. They are our brothers coming from abroad. The government should treat them like their own. That is why I came at 1 am.’
