Punjab: The Health Minister of Punjab Dr Balveer Singh on Monday held a high level meeting on the health care availability in Punjab ensures that no shortage of doctors will be in government hospitals.
Speaking with the media Dr Balveer Singh said that all government hospitals will be audited for electricity and fire safety in the state.
The Minister further said that a committee of DHS, DRME, Chief Engineer of B&R, Director Distribution PSPCL and at the district level, a committee of XEN of PSPCL, XEN of B&R will be formed to inspect all hospitals will be provided six to seven hours of generator backup will be provided in the operation theatre, labour room and critical area.
The meeting was also attended by Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education PWD, B&R Chairman, PSPCL Chairman, Director Health and Director Medical Education along with all the Civil Surgeons were also present in the meeting
