Jalandhar, May 19: Punjabi singer Harbhajan Mann’s father-in-law Harcharan Singh has passed away. He breathed his last in Toronto. The singer himself has given this information by posting on his social media Facebook account.
He has also shared some old photos of his family. Harcharan Singh was the son of Shiromani poet Karnail Singh Paras. Former Union Minister Balwant Singh Ramuwalia is his brother.
He was a good-hearted person and used to help everyone.
Harbhajan Mann has written in the post that my wife Harman Mann’s father and my respected father (father-in-law) Harcharan Singh Gill ji has completed his worldly journey and has sat at the feet of Guru Maharaj ji. Papa ji, who has been living in Toronto for the last 53 years, was a very forward-thinking and good-hearted person who used to help everyone.
Papa Ji Harcharan Singh Ji, the elder son of Shiromani Kavishar Karnail Singh Paras Ji, served as a teacher in various schools in his native village Ramunwala Nava, District Moga. His advice and encouragement have always inspired us to move forward. He has taught us to live with a full heart in every situation. His teachings and his memories will always remain with us. We pray that God grants him a place in his feet.

Harbhajan Mann is a Punjabi singer and actor. He originally hails from Khemuana village in Bathinda district. However, he now mostly lives in Canada. He also has a house in Mohali. However, he also tried his luck in politics. During the Akali Dal-BJP government, he held the post of chairman of the Mohali District Planning Committee. However, after some time, he left this post. Also, he became active in his line again.
