Punjab: The Railway authorities in Ferozpur division on Saturday announced to rush two special trains ahead of Holi to avoid passenger rush.
In a statement issued the Ferzopur railway division said that to accommodate increased passenger demand during Holi, Indian Railways has announced special trains on multiple routes. The Amritsar-Gorakhpur-Amritsar Festival Special Express (Train No. 05005/05006) will operate on March 5, 12, 19, and 26 from Gorakhpur, and on March 6, 13, 20, and 27 from Amritsar.
The train will stop at major stations including Bareilly, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Ambala, and Jalandhar. Officials stated that these trains aim to ease congestion and ensure a smooth travel experience.
The railway authorities have also advised passengers to check schedules and book tickets in advance.
