Rain alert in Rajasthan; Relief from heat as temperature drops

Rain continues in Rajasthan even today. It rained at many places in Sikar from 3 am to 4 am late night. Up to 20 mm of rain was recorded in the rural areas of the district.

Roads were submerged in water. Today, the weather department has issued an alert of storm and rain in 7 districts. There is a rain alert in 17 districts on Sunday as well.

On the other hand, a Western Disturbance will be active on 2 June, due to which the activities of thunderstorms and rain will increase again in many districts of Rajasthan on 2-3 June. Which will continue till 4 June.

Jaisalmer has the highest temperature

During the last 24 hours, the highest temperature was recorded in Jaisalmer at 43.6 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was recorded in Ganganagar at 42.4 degrees Celsius, Bikaner at 42.2, Barmer at 41.4 and Kota at 41.8 degrees.

At the same time, the temperature was recorded at 41.2 degrees Celsius in Vanasthali (Tonk), 40.4 in Jodhpur, 40.9 in Baran and 40.2 degrees Celsius in Phalodi. In all the remaining districts of the state, the maximum temperature on Friday was below 40 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures drop, relief from heat

  • On Friday, the maximum temperature in Pratapgarh, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Alwar was recorded between 35 to 36 degree Celsius.

  • The temperature in Jaipur was recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius. There was light drizzle during the day around Sanganer and Jagatpura.

  • On Friday, the sky was covered with clouds throughout the day. Here in Niwai near Tonk, the sky was covered with clouds throughout the day on Friday. There was light rain.
  • Apart from Jaipur, the maximum temperature on Friday was 39.8 degrees Celsius in Ajmer, 39.3 in Bhilwara, 35.5 in Alwar, 37.2 in Pilani, 36.5 in Sikar, 39.8 in Chittorgarh and 36 degrees in Udaipur.

  • The maximum temperature was recorded at 39.9 degrees Celsius in Churu, 35.5 in Dungarpur, 37.1 in Hanumangarh, 37.9 in Jalore, 34.1 in Sirohi, 36.7 in Fatehpur, 37.4 in Karauli, 37.9 in Dausa, 35.2 in Pratapgarh, 37.1 in Jhunjhunu and 39.1 degrees Celsius in Pali.
