Ajmer, July 17: A car overturned on the Ajmer-Jaipur National Highway. Three people died on the spot, while one died during treatment. One person is seriously injured. The devotees travelling in the car had set out to visit Sanwalia Seth. The accident took place in Ajmer’s Mangaliyawas area at around 2:15 am on Wednesday night. All the people who died were from the same village.
A car crossed the divider and collided with another vehicle
A horrific road accident took place at Lamana cut on Ajmer-Jaipur highway (National Highway-48) in Lamana village of Mangaliyawas police station area on Wednesday night at around 2.15 am. A car going from Ajmer to Beawar went out of control, went on the wrong side of the divider and collided with another vehicle. The car was completely destroyed.
Car passengers Suraj, son of Mohanlal, Bajrang Lal, son of Ramlal, Premchand, son of Bodhuram Prajapat, and Kamlesh, son of Bhanwarlal Yadav, died. Seriously injured Vimlesh (23), son of Kailash, is being treated at Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital. All the deceased are from Chausla village of Didwana district. As soon as the information of the accident was received, ASI Hukum Singh of Mangaliyawas police station reached there with his team.
Mangaliyawas police have reached the mortuary of JLN Hospital. The postmortem process will be completed after the relatives of the deceased arrive.
Police gave information to the Sarpanch representative
Ashok Kumar Sharma, Sarpanch representative of Gram Panchayat Chausla, said- Police informed us. We were told that some youths of your village were going to Saawariya Seth and Devmalya Jodhpuriya Dev in a car. Their car met with an accident. It is not known how the accident happened. There were 5 youths from the village in the car, out of which 4 have died. One is admitted in the hospital.
3 died on the spot
ASI Hukum Singh said- I was on night patrol. We received information from the police station about a car accident near Lamana Cut. I reached the spot. I found a crashed WagonR car there. The car was overturned. 2 people were injured and 3 died on the spot. The injured were immediately admitted to JLN Hospital. The fourth person also died during treatment in the hospital. He had suffered serious head injuries. The damaged vehicle has been kept at the police station. Initial investigation revealed that all the people were going for Sanwariya Seth Darshan.
