Mumbai: As Alia Bhatt prepares to celebrate her 32nd birthday on 15 March, she and her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, hosted a heartwarming celebration with the paparazzi. The couple shared a lighthearted moment as Alia, dressed in an elegant pastel kurta, cut a birthday cake. Ranbir playfully smeared cake on her nose before giving her a loving kiss, delighting those in attendance.
Beyond the celebrations, the spotlight shifted to their upcoming films, particularly the much-anticipated Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev. Addressing the media, Ranbir Kapoor confirmed that the sequel is very much in the pipeline. He revealed that director Ayan Mukerji is currently engaged with War 2, but once that project concludes, work on Brahmastra 2 will begin in earnest.
“Brahmastra 2 is something Ayan has been nurturing as a dream for a long time. We haven’t officially announced much, but exciting updates will be coming soon,” Ranbir teased, adding to fans’ anticipation.
The first instalment, Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, was released in 2022 and set the foundation for Mukerji’s ambitious trilogy. With the confirmation of its sequel, expectations are high regarding the continuation of the astraverse saga.

Additionally, Ranbir spoke about Love & War, his upcoming collaboration with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
