Mumbai : Actress Raveena Tandon and her driver have been accused of beating an elderly woman under the influence of alcohol. The victim’s son claimed that the incident happened on Saturday night. His mother was injured by Raveena’s car near Rizvi Law College in Bandra, Mumbai.
After this, Raveena’s driver got out of the car and started arguing with my mother as well as other family members. He got into a scuffle. After this, Raveena also got out of the car and started beating those people.
In this video that has surfaced, Raveena is surrounded by the victim’s family and the local crowd. People are talking about calling the police. Meanwhile, the victim’s daughter tells Raveena, ‘You will have to spend the whole night in jail. My nose is bleeding.’
At the same time, Raveena was heard telling the crowd, ‘Please don’t push me.. don’t hit me..’ The actress is also requesting the crowd present there not to shoot the video.
The victim tried to register a case in the police station, but he says that the police is not showing strictness in taking action. The woman who got injured is said to be 70 years old.
Her son Mohammad said- We had gone out somewhere to fix our daughter’s marriage. Raveena’s car was parked near Rizvi Law College on the way. We were just leaving from there when the car reversed a little.
Due to this, my mother got hit hard. When we objected, the driver started talking nonsense. Raveena Tandon was also present in the car. She also got out of the car and started arguing with us. She was drunk and started beating my mother.

Raveena Tandon left from there some time after this incident. The victim’s family immediately reached Khar police station. Raveena Tandon’s husband and famous distributor Anil Thadani also reached the police station. He tried to resolve the matter with the victim’s family, but they were adamant on registering a case.
Mohammad claimed that he waited with the victim for 4 hours at Khar police station but his complaint was not registered. Mohammad said, ‘They asked us to settle the matter outside the police station. But why should we settle with them? My mother has been beaten up and I want justice.’
So far, no official statement has come from Raveena on this entire matter. However, the police have started investigating the case and further action is being taken.
